In another class I have been doing a ton of research on planned parent hood. I think this topic is extremely important for the people of our generation. People are so against planned parent hood and mostly view it as an abortion clinic. The URL above shows a diagram of what planned parent hood is mostly used for. Only 3% use of this clinic is for abortions. Contraception is used for 35% of the clinic and another 34% is used for STI testing. Contraceptives and STI testing can be acquired at your doctor but some students and young adults do not hold health care for themselves so going to planned parent hood is the cheapest way they can reach these resources. Another extremely important part of planned parent hood is 17% of caner screening. If a young adult does not have health insurance and does not visit the doctor regularly they could risk not knowing about any type of cancers they could have. Planned parent hood provides this for a smaller price. It is so important for people to become educated on the facts of a place like this.
